About Us
Apprenticeship Support Australia (ASA) was established in 2014 to deliver the Australian Government's Apprenticeship Support Services as an Apprentice Connect Australia Provider. This initiative operates under a contract from the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations. Apprenticeship Support Australia combines 78 years of collective experience and delivers across multiple states, including New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia, and Western Australia.
We provide high-quality skills development advice and solutions to businesses and jobseekers across Australia. By harnessing the collective strength and expertise of the Business Chamber movement, we ensure our clients, regardless of size, receive consistent, top-tier service. Our focus is on improving apprenticeship commencement and completion rates by offering comprehensive support throughout the entire employment cycle.
We offer services from over 60 locations nationwide, supplemented by extensive outreach programs to ensure predominantly face-to-face engagement with employers, apprentices, trainees, and schools. Our service model includes innovative enhancements to better meet the needs of Australian Apprentices and Employers, such as data-informed assessment tools, wellness and professional development programs, workplace support resources, and increased mentoring and personal support services.
In addition to our general services, ASA has been contracted to deliver Specialist Provider Services in various locations, catering to the unique needs of women in male-dominated trades, First Nations Australian Apprentices, and apprentices in Clean Energy occupations. Our careers hub, Skillsroad.com.au, is Australia's leading platform for independent career advice, offering a range of tools and resources for career planning and job readiness.
We provide employers with holistic training advice, helping them access government funding for training, match and recruit new staff, and offer ongoing coaching and mentoring for apprentices and trainees. With over 400 dedicated staff across the country, ASA is equipped to help businesses effectively manage their training solutions and support apprentices and trainees through to successful completion.
