2023 NSW Training Awards

The NSW Training Awards is a night dedicated to celebrating the incredible talents of all of those involved in NSW’s Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector. Apprenticeship Support Australia continues to support the NSW Training Awards in 2023. We could not be more pleased to continue to bring to light the stories of dedication and commitment, that surround every apprentice and trainee to becoming fully certified and skilled.

This year, 6 apprentices supported by ASA recieved an award. We are immensely proud to share with you their success.
 

New England Training Awards

Aaliyah Marley

The 2023 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander of the Year for New England NSW Region Award goes to Trainee Aaliyah Morely!

Aaliyah's achievements include a Certificate IIII in School-Based Education Support at the NSW Department of Education with KARBEN Training Solutions while attending Peel High School.

Molly Smith

Molly Smith is the 2023 School-based Apprentice/Trainee of the Year for the New England NSW Region!

Molly is pursuing a Certificate III in Health Services Assistance at TAFE NSW while attending McCarthy Catholic College. She is also completing her Traineeship with Hunter New England Local Health District.

Edward Rainger

Congratulations to the 2023 Trainee of the Year for the New England NSW Region, Edward Rainger!

Edward has completed a Certificate IV in Meat Processing (Leadership) at Response Learning, while working at Bindaree Food Group.

 

 


Hunter and Central Coast Region Training Awards

               

Regan Beaver

Join us in celebrating the winner of the 2023 School-Based Apprentice/Trainee of the Year for Hunter & Central Coast Region!

Regan Beaver is currently pursuing a Certificate III in Retail at KFC while attending MacKillop Catholic College, Warnervale NSW. She is completing her traineeship with KFC – Lakehaven.

Zali Reynolds

Congratulations Zali Reynolds, 2023 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander of the Year for Hunter & Central Coast Region!

Zali’s achievements include currently completing a Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance at TAFE NSW and a traineeship at Central Coast Local Health District. She is also a student at Northlakes High School.

Jodi Pearson

Massive congratulations to Jodi Pearson, who was honoured with the 2023 Phil Darby Memorial Award, a special industry award to celebrate an exceptional trainee.

In completing her traineeship, Jodi combined being a support worker for several participants as part of the Community Access team at We Care NSW and studying a Certificate III in ‘Individual Support’.
