ASA attend Logan's Tradie, Manufacturing and Construction Jobs Expo

Apprenticeship Support Australia’s South East QLD team attended the Logan Tradie, Manufacturing and Construction Jobs Expo, connecting with job seekers, employers, and training providers.

Members of Apprenticeship Support Australia's (ASA) South East QLD team proudly joined the local community at the Logan Trade, Manufacturing and Construction Jobs Expo, held at the Logan Metro Sports Complex, to connect with job seekers, employers, and training organisations passionate about building careers in trades, construction, and manufacturing.

The free community event, hosted by the Logan Office of Economic Development and Logan City Council, is a key initiative under the Mayor’s Local Jobs and Skills Taskforce. It aims to link local talent with real employment and training opportunities specific to industries vital to the region’s growth.

ASA South East QLD team members Claire, Evan, and Justine were on hand to represent the organisation and share valuable information with attendees. The ASA stand served as a hub for engagement, where the team met with both employers and aspiring apprentices and trainees eager to take their first step into the workforce.

“This is a fantastic way to spread our brand and mission to job seekers and stakeholders,” said Evan, Brisbane ITC.

“Events like this allow us to reinforce ASA’s commitment to empowering individuals and reinforce ASA’s broader vision and commitment to Apprentices, Trainee’s and supporting small to medium businesses across South East Queensland.”

The expo offered attendees a chance to:

  • Explore job openings from local employers
  • Understand training and qualification pathways
  • Discover what skills are needed to succeed in trades, construction, and manufacturing
  • Get actionable advice on how to start or progress their career journey

ASA’s South East QLD team are committed to supporting the growth of skilled industries across the region and look forward to attending future events, which continue to provide vital connections between job seekers, employers, and training providers.
