Civil Contractors Federation Tasmania (CCFTas) is the civil construction industry peak body and business association in Tasmania. It is the leading voice of the civil infrastructure design, construction and maintenance industry in the state.
It represents, promotes, protects, connects, and services the civil construction industry, locally and nationally to ensure our members views are expressed and heard.
Civil construction is a critical industry to Tasmania’s prosperity and productivity, designing, building and maintaining the infrastructure critical to support the state’s economy – tourism, freight and passenger movement, the export industry, agriculture, and essential services such as water, power, and waste management.

Ms Walker recently represented Apprenticeship Support Australia at the CCFTas Summit, themed “Civil Industry Safety and Education”. As part of the ‘Training for the Future’ panel discussion, the event heard about success stories, challenges, ideas and supports that are available for the civil construction industry.
