2026 Bert Evans Apprentice Scholarship applications open

Applications for the 2026 Bert Evans Apprentice Scholarships are now open and will close on Wednesday 30 September 2026.

The scholarships are designed to support eligible NSW apprentices who are experiencing financial and/or personal hardship, helping them to successfully complete their apprenticeship.

Successful applicants may receive financial assistance of up to $5,000 per year for up to three years, to a maximum value of $15,000.

Applications are open now to first year apprentices across metropolitan and regional NSW, including school-based apprentices.

The scholarships can help cover costs associated with training and work, including tools, travel, equipment and other expenses that may otherwise impact an apprentice’s ability to complete their qualification.

The 2026 application round officially opened on Monday, 18 May and closes on Wednesday, 30 September 2026.
