Congratulations to GBF on their win at the Goldfields Business Awards

Apprenticeship Support Australia would like to extend its congratulations to GBF Underground Mining Company (GBF) on their achievement at the 2015 Goldfields Business and Employee Awards.

Hosted by the Kalgoorlie-Boulder Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. in August, GBF were recognised in the category of Sustainability and Innovation for their Workplace Training program.

“GBF’s award for their Workplace Training Program for their apprentices and trainees recognises their strong commitment to training, learning and development,” said Lena Constantine, Apprenticeship Support Australia Manager.

Through these types of programs, GBF have built a culture that encourages and supports learning and development. 

GBF Group Manager IR & Environmental, Health, Safety, Training and Quality, Franko Roberts said “our support and encouragement of employees, along with our innovative learning and development programs help us to cultivate a positive working environment.”

“We are delighted to be recognised at the Business Awards for our continued commitment to sustainability and innovation in the Australian Mining Industry”, says Franko.
