Crown Perth’s Apprentice Test Day

Apprenticeship Support Australia was proud to sponsor Crown Perth’s Apprentice Test Day on Tuesday, 12 October.

Crown Perth apprentices were assessed in teams of nine where they interpreted and prepared a four course menu. Interpretations were judged on presentation and flavour of the food.

Apprenticeship Support Australia Team Leader Felicia Micin was a guest judge at the Test Day.

“Crown Perth’s Apprentice Test Day was an exciting opportunity for apprentices to showcase their work and be rewarded for their efforts.

Apprenticeship Support Australia was proud to sponsor this fantastic event,” said Felicia.

The winning team was announced on Friday, 16 October.

Starter:

Vietnamese Pho Soup
Bitterballen
Tom Yum Seafood Soup

Entrée:

Sesame Seared Tuna
Mango Chilli Spheres, Wasabi Foam, Yuzu Honey Soy Pearls, Pickled Vegetables
Irish Beef and Guinness Stew, Colcannon Mash

Main:

Seafood Paella
Full Moon Burger, freshly made Coriander and Chilli Bread, Asian Marinated Chicken, Pineapple Chutney, Sweet Potato Crisps

Dessert:

The Secret Garden, Fresh Pavlova Nest, Lavender White Choc Mousse Cups, Fresh Raspberry Macaron, Pistachio Cake Bites, Passionfruit Pate Du Fruit, Lemon Curd Tartlets, Yuzu Marshmallow Rocky Road
