Launch Your Career, a Department of Education program delivered in partnership with TAFE NSW.

“My goal is to empower apprentices and trainees throughout their apprenticeship and give them the best chance to succeed in the industry.”

Working in renewable energy is especially rewarding for Megan. She takes pride in helping apprentices make informed career decisions and seeing them grow from beginners to confident, skilled tradespeople.

“What I love about the renewable energy industry is that through my mentoring, I can help apprentices make informed career decisions while watching them flourish and progress.”

When asked for her advice to those considering a trade, Megan encourages a proactive approach.

“Be open to learning and ask lots of questions. Consider options like school-based apprenticeships to get a head start in your career.”

For Megan, the renewable energy sector offers more than just a job, it’s a career with purpose and long-term opportunity.

“I would recommend a career in renewable energy because it gives you purpose. You’ll work with cutting-edge technologies, solve real-world problems, and learn something new every day. Career opportunities are endless, and the industry offers both stability and growth.”

Through her mentorship, Megan is helping to shape a skilled, confident, and future-ready workforce.
