Proud to celebrate NAIDOC week

Apprenticeship Support Australia and Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Western Australia (CCI) are proud to celebrate NAIDOC week 3-10 July 2016 together with all our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff.

NAIDOC Week is a time to celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history, culture and achievements and is an opportunity to recognise the contributions that Indigenous Australians make to our country and our society.

Apprenticeship Support Australia WA Manager, Lena Constantine says “This is a great opportunity to engage with local Aboriginal and Torres communities. We are proud and excited to celebrate NAIDOC week together with our valuable team members here at Apprenticeship Support Australia”.

Business can contribute to the reconciliation process through committing to grow a culture of respect within work places, through developing an understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people’s cultures and contributions.

“At Apprenticeship Support Australian and CCI we believe by embracing diversity we are helping to build an inclusive society that values every individual’s contribution,” says Constantine.
