Free financial webinar for school leavers

Services Australia is hosting a free webinar to help young people prepare for work, study and managing their finances after leaving school.

Leaving school and entering the workforce is an exciting step, but it can also bring plenty of new financial responsibilities.

To help young people feel more prepared, Services Australia’s Financial Information Service is hosting a free live webinar covering some of the key financial considerations when leaving school.

The Financial Information When Leaving School webinar will explore starting work, understanding and managing money, setting long-term goals and planning for the future.

This session may be particularly helpful for school leavers who are preparing to begin an apprenticeship or traineeship and will soon be managing a regular income, workplace expenses and other financial commitments.

The webinar is free to attend and can be joined online from anywhere. Participants will also have an opportunity to ask questions through the live chat.
